Perfect Spring Day for a postponed covid destination wedding

Good things come to those who wait! Molly and Jordans beautiful Spring wedding at the Westin Savannah was one for the books! After delaying a full year due to Covid, Molly and Jordan finally had the most perfect day here in beautiful Savannah Georgia! The Westin on the Savannah River is an amazing backdrop for a wedding, with the view of the Savannah bridge, the river and the city scape view it’s hard to beat! Their friends and family traveled from all over and were treated to a perfect Savannah day.

First the wedding party got ready at the Westin in their beautiful suites with amazing views. Next, Molly and Jordan opted to head downtown for a first look in Chatham Square. Chatham Square is one of our favorite spots, it has some of the most beautiful oak trees, historic architecture, and less tourist foot traffic. It makes a perfect spot for photos, and ceremonies. Next the wedding party joined them for photos in the square, it was a traveling party! Then they continued the party on the trolley as they headed back to prepare for the ceremony.

Next it was ceremony time! We loved their ceremony on the lawn in front of the gazebo, followed by their cocktail hour steps away overlooking the river. The fabulous Equinox Orchestra entertained guest during cocktail hour while the ceremony space was flipped for their dinner on the lawn. Next they danced the night away in the Harbor Ballroom overlooking the river while enjoying the live music. The Young Hearts Band based out of Nashville Tennessee kept the dance floor pack all night! Finally their guest also enjoyed the local late evening treat of Leopold’s Ice Cream, which is a must anytime you visit Savannah.
